Autant l\u2019ombre et la terreur r\u00e9gnaient sur l\u2019Europe d\u00e9chir\u00e9e par les guerres de religion, autant la musique transcendait les conflits par-del\u00e0 les fronti\u00e8res et les id\u00e9ologies. Quantit\u00e9 d\u2019oeuvres magistrales datent de cette \u00e9poque et le nombre de compositeurs actifs entre 1550 et 1650 est particuli\u00e8rement impressionnant. Parmi eux,\u00a0Carlo Gesualdo<\/strong>\u00a0(1566-1613), d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 il y a exactement 400 ans. Il nous a laiss\u00e9 une oeuvre toute de modernit\u00e9, chaotique parfois, mais alliant toujours aux\u00a0 nouvelles d\u00e9couvertes et audaces d\u2019\u00e9criture qui ont fait le terreau de l\u2019\u00c8re Baroque, l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gance et la rigueur de la Renaissance. \u00c0 la m\u00eame \u00e9poque,\u00a0les compositeurs de l\u2019\u00e9poque Elisab\u00e9thaine\u00a0<\/strong>ont produit des oeuvres de lumi\u00e8re, transparentes et radieuses, qui parviennent \u00e0 int\u00e9grer les contradictions esth\u00e9tiques, politiques et humaines du temps.<\/p>\n \u00ab\u00a0l\u2019Orgue d\u2019Ao\u00fbt 2013\u00a0\u00bb qui sera d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la m\u00e9moire de notre administratrice d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9e,\u00a0Claire Timmermans<\/strong>\u00a0et de notre vice-pr\u00e9sidente,\u00a0Jeannine Van Lierde<\/strong>, qui nous ont quitt\u00e9s l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re.
